"It will go well with those servants whom the Master finds wide-awake on His return." —Luke 12:37
Are you ready for Jesus to return and the world to end today or even right this minute? "Be on guard, therefore. The Son of Man will come when you least expect Him" (Lk 12:40).
Are you "that faithful, farsighted steward" feeding God's people physically and spiritually? (Lk 12:42) "When much has been given a man, much will be required of him. More will be asked of a man to whom more has been entrusted" (Lk 12:48).
Are you ready to die today? If not, you're not ready to live today.
Do you want Jesus to come back today — as soon as possible? Do you want to see face to face the One Who died on the cross for love of you? Are you "looking for the coming of the day of God and trying to hasten it"? (2 Pt 3:12)
Christians in the early Church had the custom of crying out "Maranatha!" (Come, Lord Jesus!) (Rv 22:20; 1 Cor 16:22) Is that the cry of your heart? Is Jesus the Love of your life? Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus — today, now.
Prayer: Crucified and risen Jesus, come! Maranatha!
Promise: "Faith is confident assurance concerning what we hope for, and conviction about things we do not see." —Heb 11:1
Praise: Praise Jesus risen! He wants to raise us from the dead! Alleluia forever!
