40 hours devotion and family campout

The purpose of this retreat weekend is to praise God through adoration of the most Holy Eucharist, to grow closer in our spirituality as a family and community ~ all are invited! Thursday May 17th - Beginning of the 40 hours devotion: • 3 - 7 PM - Arrival and set up, suppers not organized • 5:30 PM – Evening prayer (Lead by Ray, Betty, Doris, Silvia, and Carl) • 6:30 PM - Confessions with Fr. Dave Kennedy • 7:45 PM – Procession of Eucharist from small Chapel to large new one • 8:00 PM - Holy Hour begins with Mass in new Chapel with Fr. Dave Kennedy • 9:30 PM - Rosary by the bonfire followed by a sing along Friday May 18th • 7:00 - 7:40AM - Office of Readings and morning prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) in the chapel - Lead by Dave, Betty, and Carl • 8:00 – 9:00AM - Breakfast on your own resources • 10:00 – 11:00AM - Teaching I ~ “Sacramentum Caritatis” (Mark Hennessey) • 11:30 AM - Midday Prayer - (Lead by Ray, Betty, Doris, Silvia, and Carl) • 12AM - 1PM - Lunch on your own resources • 1:00 – 3:00PM – Corn hole tournament led by Our Lady of Guadalupe HBC • 3:30PM - International Rosary (Mary Hennessey will lead) • 5:30 - Liturgy of the Hours (evening prayer - Lead by Ray, Betty, Doris, Silvia, and Carl) • 6 - 7PM – Shared meal (potluck supper – Chili Cheese Coneys w/ wieners are main menu and are provided). • 7:00PM- Confessions with Fr. Dohrman Byers • 8PM - Mass at Chapel with Fr. Dohrman Byers • 9:30 – Video on the Life of Pope John Paul II (Mary Hennessey to set up and organize) • 10:45PM – Bonfire and sing along Saturday May 19th • 7:00 - 7:40AM - Office of Readings and morning prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) in the chapel - Lead by Dave, Betty, and Carl • 8:00 – 9:00AM - Breakfast – the world’s largest omelet by Mark/Jerry/and others • 9:00 - 10:00AM - Confessions with Fr. David Young (from the Diocese of Columbus) • 10:15 – 11:15AM – Teaching II ~ “Sacramentum Caritatis” (Nancy Kenny) • 11:30 PM – Midday Prayer – (Lead by Ray, Betty, Doris, Silvia, and Carl) • 12 Noon – 1:15PM - Benediction, Mass, and procession with banners (Fr. David Young) • 1:15 – 4:00PM – Lunch on your own resources and a potential corn hole to follow The exposition of the Eucharist begins Thursday evening, May18th. You can come anytime during the weekend to participate in adoration. The above schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or complications.
