One Bread, One Body contains daily teachings based on the Catholic Church's readings for daily Mass. In keeping with the purpose of the publisher, Presentation Ministries, each issue of One Bread, One Body is sent to the Chancery for review. There it receives the Rescript (a new form of the Nihil obstat and Imprimatur) which is your assurance that the teachings are not contrary to official Church teaching.

Reading Notes

The teachings should be read after reading or hearing the scriptures for Mass which are listed on the top of the page. As you read the teaching you should also look up the scripture references given in the text. This will give you the full effect of the teaching, as the scripture is an important part of each teaching. It is through the scripture that we hear the Holy Spirit speak the word of God, and it is by hearing the word of God that we receive the gift of faith.
We have capitalized personal pronouns referring to God.
The "praises" are true; the names have been changed to preserve confidentiality.
